Yeah, that's bad. I read an article a year or so ago that said that if we used all the money needed to make one stealth bomber, every child in America would have a laptop.

a very bad one perhaps of TI-108 varity? remember, for most of these articles you *must* read them carefully, otherwise you're just being manipulated to think the way the author/webmaster want you to think hence propaganda ;-)

yeah katie, much as i hate bush that article has no logical or reliable basis that i can see. Tell me if i'm wrong, id be interested to see how they calculated that the war costs $1000 dollars a second. Thanks.

Yea, i'd be interested on how they calculated it too.
But...if it were let's say hypothetical counting...that would also be crazy.

they get their data from a credible source, however, how they add it per day is questionable ;p
